The aim is to promote the honey use in bars and restaurants, developing a tapa menu that will be offered during the weekend before Firabril April Fair (honey fair celebrated every year in El Perelló).

This activity includes a tapa competition; each restaurant that enters presents three different tapas made with honey.

With this initiative we help out the student from the last year in the local secondary school Institut Blanca d’Anjou from Perelló as they sell tickets to help raise money for their end of school trip.

All of the tapas that participate will enter a competition for the best tapa. There are three prizes, the winning tapa apart than the trophy also gets to be the image of the next year’s edition.

The votes to choose best tapa of the honey tapa route will be voted by a jury chosen by Miel Muria. Also the general public will be able to vote their favourite tapa from our facebook page, which will count as one more vote added to the jury’s vote the prizes are given on Saturday afternoon at the Fair Firabril at Muria’s stand.
